Corbans’ winemakers craft this range of complex varietal wines from premium Hawke’s Bay fruit to be ideal companions for food.

Sourced solely from our Haumoana vineyard, this off-dry
Gewürztraminer exhibits classic rose petal and musk aromas, with spicy nuances and a weighty, ginger finish.

Colour:	Pale straw
Aromas:	Classic rose petal and musk characters

Palate:

Richly textured and oily, this off-dry wine exhibits typical Turkish delight flavours underpinned with stone fruit characters and a lengthy ginger and spice finish.

Whilst already quite complex, this wine will continue to evolve for up to three years from its vintage year.

“Corbans Private Bin Hawke’s Bay Syrah 2005 has many of the best elements of syrah from the region. It fills the nose with cherry and violets and the mouth with savoury cherry and berryfruit. Great individually and enough balance to be a recommended match for rich but delicate meat dishes - duck and orange, herbed lamb, even an oily fish. I enjoyed it with a lamb roast and it also went well with the blue cheese and cracker entrée. Versatile and tasty, syrah is the new pinot. Bring it on."
